This fireplace renovation project in Solana Beach, CA (92075) transformed an outdated, heavy-looking fireplace into a modern, clean, and inviting focal point within the bedroom. The original unit featured a bulky black stove and exposed chimney that did not align with the overall design of the space. The goal was to create a sleek, contemporary fireplace that would add warmth, elevate the room’s aesthetic, and increase the overall value of the home.

Located in Solana Beach, CA, this project began with the removal of the old fireplace unit, including the outdated stove and visible chimney components. The space was then redesigned to accommodate a built-in electric fireplace insert, creating a seamless and modern appearance. We constructed a custom wall niche to house the new fireplace, followed by smooth finishing and paint to achieve a clean, minimal look. To complement the design and integrate the fireplace into the room, we installed custom wood shelves that match the existing interior style. The result is a refined, modern fireplace feature that adds both visual warmth and functional comfort to the bedroom, transforming it into a more cohesive and elevated living space.
